Selecting the right size
To choose the right size of knee and elbow pads, we recommend measuring your child's joints with a tape measure. To do this, measure the circumference above the elbow and above the knee, as shown in the diagram. The pads are adjustable in size: from 20-27 cm at the elbow and from 26-33 cm at the knee. The pads must have a good hold and must not slip, but should not cut into the skin.
If your child's arm and knee circumference is smaller, we recommend the Protector Set XS.
Quick-release fastener - very easy to put on and take off
The knee and elbow pads should be adjusted to the right size using the Velcro fastener when putting them on for the first time. Children should then take the protectors off and put them on again using the quick-release fastener. This ensures that the protectors always fit perfectly, are correctly adjusted and offer optimum protection.
Certified safety - the right area of application
Our knee and elbow pads are certified in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/425 and EN14120:2003 + A1:2007, Level 1, which means that they meet the highest safety standards for protective clothing in Level 1 (protectors for normal roller sports). The Scoot and Ride Protective Set S is only suitable for children and for the use of normal roller sports equipment.
